The VanS Moving & Storage system handles all local/intra state order processing including revenue distribution, invoicing and automatic storage billing. Information from this system is integrated with other VanS applications including Operations, MoveTrak, Driver Processing, Sales Processing, Memo System, Van Line Interfaces and Financial Modules.
Order Entry
- Access an order by: Registration Number, Shipper Name, Purchase Order Number, or Reference Number.
- Enter key dates to automatically create tasks associated with the move.
- Dates and Special Instructions automatically send to the Operations System.
- Create memos and/or send e-mails if selected fields are modified.
- Field Skipping available by user sign-on.
Revenue Distribution
- Provide automatic revenue distribution from a single entry to drivers, third party agents, salespeople, and General Ledger.
- Allow each branch to enter and process their own orders.
- Use revenue groups (templates) to quickly enter all revenue for a particular order.
- Enter general comments about the move as well as comments about any type of revenue, and print them on the invoice (if needed).
- Design invoice formats for customers with special requirements.
Storage Processing
- Automatically bill recurring storage each month. Handles quarterly, monthly, anniversary, in-arrears, and non-monthly storage processing.
- Control vault usage, location and reporting by assigning vaults to orders.
Reports and Inquiries
- Track all registered orders and their current status with an extensive Order Listing Report.
- A detailed Accounts Receivable Inquiry is available on customers and orders within the Move Entry System
